I've just watched a British TV program that tries to convince the Remainers the beauty of the EU and mass migration.

It tries to convince people of what will happen if the UK leaves the EU. By saying all the low paid workers will disappear as they leave the UK.

The truth is very different. The UK has 3 million or more unemployed. https://www4.shu.ac.uk/research/cres...ion-new-report

There's a huge pool of people currently out of work and living off the Welfare system. Because they can't find a job or jobs don't pay more than welfare. Even people in work are on welfare with the State, other taxpayers, topping up wages.

Businesses will be forced to pay a living wage to employees to tempt them into their work or go out of business. This will mean businesses will pay the wages instead of the State.

Cutting the Welfare bill by a huge margin. https://www.theguardian.com/politics...in-facts-myths

Wages rise means tax revenue rises. Which gives the government more money to spend on the items that need funding. There are other places that will benefit.

Poverty breeds crime and that costs money. From police to probation officers. Lower house prices and rents. Too many on the demand side has led to a huge rise in the cost of finding somewhere to live.

But the media won't tell you this because they're owned by big business who love the cheap labour, high property prices and would make less money. So they try to spin their lies.
