I’m never asked for an ID card when using a credit card. Yesterday I used a card I haven’t signed yet. Ran it through the terminal and removed it without a word from the cashier.
I asked this from about ten people and none had a clue. I asked my PCP and she mentioned anonymity but then thought it over and said it made no sense.
Surfers can use it for anonymity to protect privacy so no one knows they view porn. That makes sense but they can buy a card at Walmart without a huge fee.
I’m overthinking this but I truly want to know.
