No sofa rips...yet. We get their nails trimmed once a month and they don't pounce on the sofa much. London chewed a hole through the basement wall already, though...hahaha. He's a Houdini escape artist.
But yeah, we walk'em both at the same time. We have them on prong collars so they're easier to control...but they're still a handful to hold back when they see another animal. We've been working at command training and they're improving quite well.
Second weekend of May we have a new 6ft privacy fence for the backyard going in, so we'll have a lot better outdoor space to train them and let them off-leash more.
Great dogs, though. Awesome home security. London's bark can be heard two fuckin' blocks away, lol.
