so letīs say you have a paypal account with no funds on it but a credit card.
now you pay something to me.
the amount will be immediately in my account but in case your credit card declines the payment I will have a problem because paypal reserves the right on business accounts to book it back and i am the loser at the end.
in the upper mentioned case it can be like that.

and this is the reason why such transactions can really take a while.
but that should only be the case when there is no physical money on the payers paypal account but a CC.

yes, yes. i remember a friend of mine was working for some IT company and they had some major bank as client., and he said , the settlement takes time , un/til then its all just numbers.
