'Detained'.....
It's a criminal case of taking people hostage and /or unlawful confinement.....
- Dangerous self-crowned Lord of the Flies power because no oversight authority is reining these law-breakers in.
Are citizens allowed to 'detain' based on suspicions or only interceding a definite illegal activity. ie, Latinos hiking in a desert area gets held up by gun-toting military-clad civilians merely suspecting they are 'illegal' migrants? In such a scenario citizens who are armed could be within their rights to use force against militias attempting to hold them hostage? - for all these American citizens know they've crossed paths with murderers pretending to be 'militia' and self-defence becomes legit. In the latest migrant caravan there were local border-area landowners who did not want militias intruding on their lands..... https://www.chicagotribune.com/news/...026-story.html
