What's shit about fake news like that is it desensitizes us to those horrible events when they do actually happen.
My first response was horror. I felt my heart drop. Then my brain kicked in and I thought "WTF this sounds insane." Hit Google. Fake news.
Will I care as much the next time I read something that terrible? I hope so.
