In this case, ICE showed up to arrest an illegal immigrant. However, that illegal immigrant was in court for a deportation hearing. ICE showed up to arrest someone when they did not know his (or her) status. The judge could have decided that person was here legally, or that they were now legally a US citizen.
This is what it has come to under Trump - our government is openly at war with itself.

So the judge should have allowed the ICE officials to wait for her judgement on whether the man was legally in America or not. Not sent him out the back door to avoid ICE. With court officer, Wesley MacGregor.
