The game has changed now.
We do care about Trump breaking the law. He should be in jail and a lot of the people below him are. Many have been convicted of felonies, but Trump hasn't yet, that's just the way it is.
Now that we know Russia is still interfering with our democracy and will still interfere with the election in 2020 and that foreign influence is now standard we have to adapt.
Europe and/or China will back Democrats against Russians for Republicans.
