It's because like most Muslim nations they have a 50%+ rate of marrying a relative. Craziest statistic i heard recently was that 55% of pakistanis in Britain are married to their first cousin. It's the underlying reason why the Arab world was at the top 1500 years ago and now it's in the gutter due to inbreeding. Muhammad married a first cousin setting precedent and women can't really go anywhere so they end up marrying relatives.
