Single tanks rarely go into a combat zone alone. They're supported by other tanks and infantry. So the odds are against a group of people getting any where near them.
For revolutions to succeed you need the army on your side. Not stopping you.
Any thoughts of ordinary citizens defeating trained and equipped military is stupid dreaming.
