Where are the Cam Sites promoting themselves, where are the cam girls, where are the affiliates? The industry has changed a lot in the last ten years, the need to network with fellow professionals in person is disappearing. It's easier and cheaper to contact each other online. It's easier and cheaper to buy traffic if what you have is good enough and if it isn't no one will buy no matter how friendly they are at a show.

Also the large companies are taking over and don't need the independents as much as they used to. Dating is going that way and I predict in the next 5 years most Dating Sites will decline, the days of Tindr and Grinder are here. And the need to fill out a long complicated form are over. No one knows anyone profiles when they walk up to them in a bar, today Social Media tells you all you need to know.
