One guy decided the President doesn't get to fill a vacant Supreme Court seat and there was nothing that anyone could do about it.
It's pure insanity.

There is a counter to the stacked court issue if Democrats regain the Senate & WH. More seats can be added to the supreme court.. The number has never been consistent like it has been most recently.. We've had as many as 10 judges at one time on the SC.
Meaning this problem can be fixed, but Dem's have to take back control.
The Constitution does not establish a set number of justices; that is up to Congress. There were initially six members of the high court -- then seven, then nine, then down to eight, then up to ten for a while, then back down to eight, and then ticking up to nine in 1869.
Republicans are however trying to rewrite the US Constitution to stop this from happening... you know because they are authoritarians who hate our Constitution..

IMO 9 judges seems like the right number to me. this way there is a odd number so no even decisions and 9 would be quite hard for either side to stack the court..
Although to be quite honest I think political affiliation to judges should be illegal. We should move away from the party non sense with judges and president naming the judges.
The law is not politics. the law is the law and politics should play no part of it..
