I saw one similar to the Hoyer online but it’s $60,000 and insurance won’t consider it. I record My 600 Lb Life and it surprises me how few people use a stairlift. I’m sure it’s money issues but most people stay in bed 24/7 and have people or children help them. To see a huge mom have her teenaged son wash her private parts was horrifying.
With so many people eating themselves to death, unable to be mobile, you’d think a company would sell lifts at a reasonable cost.
Studies need to be done to explain why people overeat dramatically. They showed one guy who ate a dozen eggs, a pound of bacon, a pound of sausage, a loaf of bread, a half pound of butter plus half a gallon of chocolate milk— for breakfast. Two hours later he was eating a box of chocolate. All I could wonder about was the size of his bowel movements! I won’t get into lunch and dinner and snacks. He eats more for breakfast in one day than I eat in a week.
