Congress itself DID hold him in "Contempt Of Congress"...which is basically toothless.
And as you posted...a judge said the whole thing was stupid to try and hold him in "contempt of court".
As a side note to all the delusional Trump-Haters:
The DOJ has NEVER given Congress those records that Holder withheld to this very day.
And quite frankly...I think it's bullshit.
Obviously the Democrats want the "unredacted" Mueller report so they can gather opposition research on Trump for the 2020 election.
But having said that...the DOJ is a fucking deep state operation. No matter who is President, they seem to do whatever they want with nobody having any authority over them.
If the House wants documents...then the DOJ should hand them over. No matter what political side you are on, that is just the way it should be.
The Congress are our elected representatives.
And the bureaucrats in the DOJ are unelected.
They need to bend to the will of Congress...period.
