My take...
Republicans already know that Trump will be impeached in the House. They know the House will get the full Mueller report and they know Mueller testimony will be damning..
They dont care about any of this but will drag their feet kicking and screaming until they cant do so anymore. They still.want to appear as they did something other than help cover it up..
They wont turn on Trump because they suddenly have a change of heart and open their eyes.. No they will turn on Trump only to save their own asses because they know damn well that once the House starts impeachment hearings that everything Trump did will be laid out on the news each and everyday for weeks
There will be no hiding behind the fact they know their supporters didnt read it. It will all be read to them for weeks and weeks..
After that they will have no choice but to abandon Trump because they will have only crazed lunatics still supporting them.
