We do this in more ways than just over populating. The entire aspect of societies today is fuck the future and live for the moment. Climate change, Economies, Population are all going to fuck the world's next generation. Because no one wants to bite the bullet now.

UN Report: 1 Million Animal And Plant Species At Risk Of Extinction. Due to climate change and over population. We all pump out far too much toxic chemicals. The effect on food prices is becoming a problem, the effect of health is a problem and getting worse. Worldwide obesity has nearly tripled since 1975. It's now a major killer in some countries. But not killing enough to reduce populations.

The value of Economies are bleated out by politicians over and over again. The only result is the working classes and middle classes are getting larger and squeezed so the upper class get rich.

The countries at the top are already facing severe food shortages and unless the nations at the bottom are prepared to pay for the food the top nations require. 100 Bob Geldofs won't save them. http://worldpopulationreview.com/cou...ertility-rate/ The problem will start to hit people in the West as Automation removes more jobs than the population grows. Importing migrants from poor countries will be a huge problem as the migrants and residents see jobs disappearing. Already the problem is the number of people n work and the level of wages can't raise the taxes to support the unemployed and low paid.
