not denying anything, just speaking to my experiences and asking questions. so from the above can I discern you feel an innate need to be a dad? totally cool if so, just wondering what your take is on the male side of this 'reason to exist' thing

lol, I was born 'illegitimate' (as if any child could be, that language is seriously fucked)

my parents were together for several years unmarried and I came along. born in October and they got married in December of that year as in the 70's my dad's name couldn't be on the birth certificate without being married to my mom. then they endured a very long and unhappy marriage until they divorced, took some time apart and have now been living together as happy friends and companions for years and years

but yes, I was born a proud bastardess and had the misfortune of my mom, my Nanny/grandmother, 3 aunts, 2 uncles, lots of non-bio/deep fam friends and my dad who wasn't legally recognized as my father when I was born to look out for me

it's so weird to me that relationships have to be codified in law to mean something. not talking taxes/benefits etc etc etc, just recognition of people belonging without a bunch of legal hurdles to jump to 'prove' a family exists on Eurocentric terms. not ours.

so you're here on this planet to be a dad? if so cool, I am just curious and you're not answering directly although I suspect you did in your last post

if so that's awesome. just be a good one
