The 3 largest things man is doing to help 'accelerate' a warming trend is:
1.
The burning of HYDROCARBONS that produces more water vapor than CO2 and is the largest and worst green house gas no matter how you measure it. Nothing else even comes close in compares. A barrel of oil makes almost a barrel of water after condensed from the water vapor generated. Coal and Nat Gas/Propane are similar. Water vapor has the highest ability to store infrared (heat) energy. Even methane gas pales in comparison.
2.
Drainage of water on land to make more land AND watershed of man-made roads and buildings. Dry wells should be created where the man-made water shed is created. And this would even lower your tax bill and your insurance.
3.
Deforestation which allows more heating of the surface and more water run-off.
The faster you make the sea level rise, the faster the ice caps melt, so it has a exponential effect.
It's not about CO2 at all. It has most to do with water and water vapor.
And these are only the top 3. But there is a much larger list.
But you are never going to solve this as long as it is just a political issue.
I'm laughing and crying at the same time.
I understand how this became a political issue but I do not understand how to stop that.
Part of it is those that have a chip against big energy and hey, I do too but the majority of water vapor comes from the same accused source... Big energy and 'burning' hydrocarbons.
All of this can be overcome much more cheaply than sequestering that CO2 that is not the problem, but nobody really wants to hear it as it interferes with your politics.
I figure nothing will be done until you can not afford insurance 50 miles inside our coastline and perhaps some river areas. If they will even insure you.
And that my friends will be coming in your lifetime. Perhaps in as soon as 15 years. I know I don't want to be paying for your risk. But I have been.
You 'may' not be able to eliminate this but you can slow it down a lot. But only if you target the correct things.
But most of you would rather fight your politics.
