The question becomes...
Do you own your own bio-metric data ? Can it be stored ? for what purpose ? can it be sold ? for what purpose ? should you be notified when any of this happens ? should you be told the intended use ? should there be a penalty for allowing it to be stolen (hacked) or breaking the rules ? Of course, there are no rules. And if it is allowed to continue, I will be using it myself to annoy politicians till they do something about it.

In the years I have followed this, I thought about a legal approach of copyrighting my bio-metric data. retina scan, fingerprint, and facial recognition map.
And if it did not require posting, my dna.

Seems far out but, who knows what the future holds.
I see a day very soon when they can determine you sexual orientation and political tendencies from the same data.

The research is very young yet but advancing very rapidly.
Most of it has went underground somewhat to avoid consumer backlash.
Many or most will not be aware of what is going on till it really is everywhere.
The Chinese are not wasting any time implementing it on their population and you will not know what they are collecting or the reasons for it. but they are behind that which has been done in the US at this point.
