It's all about over population. The more people the more resources they require and dispose of. Even a schoolkid understands that.
The Earth isn't designed to support 7 billion people in the life style we now adopt. It's designed to support hunter gatherers just becoming farmers. That's how evolution works. But we can't go back to that so we have to change the way we think.
The first is to reduce the world's population and consumption to a point the Earth can support. What's that number?
A number that will turn around rain forests destruction and replenish them.
A number that will require far less fuel consumption, both for vehicles and power.
A number that will need far less food production.
Will man do what's needed or do we adopt Squealer's stance and party till we're fucked?
