All of the articles in my phone feed today were about how bad this season turned out be. There's so many people complaining on YouTube and in comments sections everywhere about how they know the best way to end the show. These "critics" did the same thing with The Sopranos.
"Wahhh! It sucks because it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to. Wahhh!"
I thought this season was great...but maybe it's because I want to enjoy shows I watch so I overlook flaws. I'm not going to watch a show for 8 years which has progressively become larger in scope and scale with each passing year and then nitpick it to death. Or maybe be the person who knows more than the writers what the fate of a certain character should be.
The spectacle of this TV show could rival most big action movies. The acting is fantastic, especially Emilia Clarke this season. I've seen her in other stuff and thought she sucked, but she really acts the shit out of Danaerys.
It's just funny to me that everyone thought it was so great and then decides it's a disaster. Fuck those people. Pull the stick out of your ass and enjoy life.
