Trump has not done one good thing since taking office.
There was a artificial "Trump bump" at the start because all these companies were counting on the tax cuts. The tax cuts happened but the companies were not expecting the trade war.. I mean I did see it at the start so I will give a bit of acknowledgement that there was a bit of a spike in freight in 2017 into 18 but it wasn't because of Trump's actions but rather because of market anticipation expecting that Trump would deliver on his promises which he never did.

I mean FFS the 1st round of tariffs with the beef & poultry companies like Tyson, Cargill ect lost 35% of their market share over night.. I saw that shit instantly because I used to haul a lot of beef loads because they pay fucking good. Tyson was average I never liked them but Cargill and some of the beef producers paid good fucking money to move that shit because any hiccup in the production chain from the livestock coming in to the processed meat going out would shutdown a entire facility because they have no storage..

The animals come right off the trailers into the kill house are processed and loaded on trailers. That trailer is off their property with-in 24hrs of the animal showing up. When the tariffs 1st hit there was massive back up because all these animals are out there that have been raised and now they have to figure out what to do with 30% of their product that has no where to go..

They started moving everything to cold storage facilities and then massively cut back production literally overnight. Meaning not only did that 30% cut affect companies like Tyson, Cargill but it affected the farmers raising the livestock, the farmers raising the feed, the trucking hauling the livestock, feed and end product.. The brokers who set up the buyers ect.. the ports it's a huge amount of jobs affected by just that single set of tariffs and that was just one industry there were hundreds if not thousands..

Then after we made it through those tariffs and shit was starting to get back to normal, Trump goes and does it again starts it all right back up again...
