Almost any situation or issue involving people tends to be very multifaceted and that's because human beings, by nature, have multiple aspects.
Simply saying that in 100% of the lynchings that the man was killed simply because "he was the wrong color" is really negationistic. Now there's no argument from me that skin color played a factor, I'm just saying that in a number of those lynchings it wasn't the only reason.
