In 1946 the Communist party gained 38% of the votes and became the largest party in Parliament. They then formed a collation government with other parties of the National Front and consolidated control. It remained commie for the next 41 years.

In the 1950s the climate was repressive and hundreds of thousands of political prisoner were put on show trials for the public and then they were hanged. (So you lynched them legally?)

My last comment on the lynchings.

I'm not apologizing or justifying a lynching because for no other reason I believe in due process.

But let me say that it takes a very very cold hart and twistedly sick violent son of a bitch to be able to storm into a man's home and hang him solely upon the color of his skin.

Trust me there's not a lot of men capable of doing that.


But if you give men a good enough reason to kill someone then it's not too hard to find those that will do the job. Therefore the only questions are what does history say what did everyone keep quiet about.
