The only way something concrete will come out of this is if Mueller agrees that if the person being investigated wasn't the POTUS he would be indicted. If he says that, boom goes the dynamite. If he doesn't, both sides will claim victory and likely nothing much comes of it.
If the Dems get him to say some bad things about Trump, however, it could be fodder they use during the election.
