I've never been to the Ukraine and I know it's a very poor country (the poorest one in Europe), but you have mentioned Russia. And I really want to know what exactly you consider a middle class here.

My brother in law is an office clerk. His wife is an office clerk too. They are absolutely regular people and they have no super-duper salaries according to the Moscow level. So they have their own apartments here, a good car (Nissan Murano), an own dacha, which is yet another suburban house with a land (yes they have city apartments and a house outside the city). They go to vacations about two times a year (for about 10-12 days at once) to visit Cyprus, Greece, Mexico, Dominica, Thailand, Cuba and other resort countries, because they like to travel. Please tell me which exactly class these two Moscow clerks are belong too according to your criteria?
