I think its got more to do with America and Russia trying their best to destabilize already destabilized Governments and parts of the population running from the internal chaos and danger by seeking asylum in other countries.
USA is the only place too head because YOUR Government has fucked over, fucked up and fucked off every other country in the Americas at some point in time.
