Nothing but two dictators grandstanding: one who is a despot with authoritarian control, the other a despot who wishes he had such control.
North Korea gained everything and the USA zero except Mr Trumpf may rightly think it was a great Photo Op and re- election prospect.
Kim Jong Un gains two very valuable tactical advantages:-
1. To his own people his "status" rises as the world's greatest leader rushes to meet him - thus giving leverage to use to keep his people exactly where he wants them without any sign of opposition despite the beggaring of his nation keeping it in the dark ages for another era and beyond
2. And most importantly at this stage gives Kim Jong Un leverage in softening sanctions now that he has been declared a "good bloke" or just side stepping them without any risk action will be taken on the bypass. "See the sanctions do not mean anything so why have them or enforce them"
Kim cannot believe his luck as having the Trumpf in his pocket and tied around his little finger.
North Korea 2 - USA - 0
Hopefully if Kim comes to the USA any meetings will take place at Disneyland the most appropriate meeting place for these two.
