to get Lean you must lose a lot of body fat...… The average person is around 20%+ body fat... Abs begin to show at around 15% body fat or lower..
when you lose a lot of body fat you usually get skinny looking... especially if you have a smaller frame and bone structure..
then you think oh.. I need to gain weight I look too skinny... so you start eating more.. then you gain body fat % back..
