Well it wasn't just someone, it was someone that had been cited 3 times for not having a license, then the state of California gave him a license and he got drunk, ran over my friend and went home, didn't even slow down. The judge gave him a year.
The reply I got from that was worthy of an insult from me

People are on your case because you keep bringing the subject back to the guy that killed your friend was an illegal immigrant when in reality, what happened to your friend, albeit unfortunate, didn't happen BECAUSE of illegal immigration. The person that did just happened to be one.
Being mad against illegal immigrants will not bring your friend back. Using what happened to your friend as a scapegoat to push your idea of how illegal immigration should be handled does him no justice.
The Wall will not solve any of these problems. The obvious anger you have inside of you will not bring your friend back and is of no use to anyone.
Just because people aren't reacting the way you want them to react doesn't mean you should take offense. It means you should take a break and re-think your situation.
