I saw a story on Lil Nas X last week with video. His crossover is angering many black people as they feel he’s doing white music.

Should I feel anger over his doing country rap? I don’t like country music but music should have no labels. I like when genres mix for the most part. Freddie Mercury doing opera, Blondie doing rap, and others showing musical talent is not one-sided.

Lil Nas X boot-stomping was a different type of dance and he did it well. Not every musician can change range or go from rap to singing. The kid is talented.

I’ll look for the video above and see how he does. It takes cajones to appeal to a new audience.
