Let's say we're in a line of people shoveling coal (you love coal, right?) from a giant pile to put in a furnace. You're the worker at the end of the line whose job it is to actually get the coal into the fire, but you put down your shovel and decide not to. Does that mean the rest of the workers are "not doing our jobs?"
