While I tend to think it was racism, we’ll never know the truth. I don’t know the area, the people, the police actions against black folks or the racism aspect of the community.
There were police shootings and death of black folks who were seemingly innocent. The media didn’t cover it enough and people assume it was justified due to preconceived notions.
When people say racism too many others think it’s an excuse for illegal actions. I believe it’s real and prevalent in the USA. Others wear blinders and ear plugs.

the 911 operator asked Zimmerman what color the guy was. that was edited out of the news feed. what we got was Zimmerman saying it's a black guy.
just like when gw bush walked the martin luther king parade with Obama, marching right next to obama. gw was cropped out of the image so obama wasn't marching with whitey.
the racism in the media is over the top, loud and proud. and the end result of BLM. police no longer go into the inner cites due to the danger and harassment. the murder rate in the inner cites has gone up like 300%, well because BLM, right?
