My grandfather was a staunch Republican and sacrificed five years of his life fighting Nazis. Real Nazis, crockett, not imaginary Nazis. He fought them by flying Lancaster bombers, not typing on a keyboard. He was a US citizen that used his skills as a pilot to enlist in the RAF. He did not wait until Pearl Harbor, he was upset about Hitler and did what he felt had to be done. He did not see his son for five years because of Nazis. If you had ever called him a Nazi to his face he likely would have beaten you to death.
