Right now there is a eighteen year old American citizen, born in the United States, being held in ICE custody. His mother has shown ICE his birth certificate and everything else, but they refuse to let him go. They are also refusing him to see an attorney.
It's horrible that we are locking up illegal immigrants for what is actually a misdemeanor, and denying them any kind of due process, but it's another thing when we do this to an American citizen.
