News didn’t stop covering it for hours. Weather lady talked non-stop with no commercials or breaks. Ninety mph winds and brutal rain and people were bitching about their vacation. One day but you’d think it was a month of tornadoes. Power should be back tonight or tomorrow and then they have to clean up the mess.

Got email from a friend in Ptown and he said that they didn’t have much wind. Said people were on the beach during the rain but they stayed in bed and had power.

We had violent thunderstorms and lightning last night with lots of rain. The pond next door overflowed into backyards but I’m across the street luckily. The front yard is soggy but the grass was cut on Friday. It needs a few hot days to dry up the grass and drowned plants.

Hurricanes, earthquakes, blizzards and now tornadoes. Never a dull weather moment here. Humidity is back on Friday and August isn’t here yet.
