Amy folks are worse. They like to cover their cars with bumper stickers. Usually trucks. They will cover the entire rear back window with six or seven stickers. It's tacky. For some reason they want you to know exaclty what unit they were in.
I have a Marine Corps sticker on my car. Just the little sticker.

The only thing I'd consider putting on my car to signify my CAF service would be vet poppy license plate. Your small sticker is good - and as you say all that other shit is just tacky.
For me, the CF1 card in my wallet is the only military designation I still carry and use. Good for businesses that honor vet discount programs.
My brother-in-law is a fire chief and the common joke that he even laughs at is - how do you know when you're sitting next to a firefighter in a bar? Oh, don't worry...he'll let you know.
As for CrockofShit's opinion above - he's entitled to it.
Someone else paid for his freedom of speech.
