A friend has a grandma who knits and she offered to do it for me. I just think $25 is a bit too much money for an 8”x4” piece of knitted material. Her vavoh (grandmother in Portuguese) is sweet but thinks all Jews are rich. “Dey gots moneys coz Jews” was her comment.
My mom did it all from knitting to crocheting to bunka to embroidery to painting to sewing to needlepoint to tile work to .. you get the point. Bahlahbustah galore but her artistic genes dropped in but didn’t stay.
Ya know, you could learn to knit ... ;)
