From what I know about software coding, php is more web based. Do you see these large scale platforms being limited by using php vs a language such as Python/Ruby? I know platforms such as wordpress were create with php, sure. But this is also a very old product. They've expanded on that product a great deal. elementor for example. php as well? i feel like i suspect it wouldn't be
