They just say you dont need to plug it in IF you only ride the miles they say is the limit AND you live in a place like sunny California.
So if that car sits outside every day and you only drive short distances, its not impossible to have "free forever" battery power

In California at all you can fry eggs on a sidewalk, in Vancouver not so sure. So, contraption this has so many "ifs" that it is worthless....yet the OP said " never needs charging" maybe " never needs plugging in" would have been more accurate.
