The woman I dated before I met my wife had a nine year old daughter. I love kids and I sort of enjoyed being a "dad". When we broke up it was really hard because I felt like I lost two people. Years later she hit me up on FB and thanked me for being a part of her life. It was kind of neat.
No, I would never get involved with someone who had kids. I would never do that again.
