While I would never not date someone that has kids I might date them longer before getting married. If I dated someone my own age then most likely their kids would be fully grown and would be no big deal.
But if I dated a younger girl in her 20s or 30s and she had smaller kids then it gets more complicated. I'd date her np but I'd date her for several years before I would want to move in together.
I have a 27 year old kid and I'll be 49 this weekend so I'm not looking to raise someone else's kid or teen but I wouldn't not date a nice lady cause she has kids. And if the right lady came along I might be willing to accept her kids down the road. I wouldn't avoid meeting her kids just don't want to be a manly/father figure til I knew she was the one I wanted to marry.
