I think after all these years, only me and Axel from Crak still liked it (grew up with this kind of music what can I say..), a time for a change was needed we all felt.
The Hard Rock will become Virgin Hotel as far as I know, maybe in the future we will return, although Vegas has a lot of cool options. We reviewed several and the old SLS(now Sahara) was the best we found. Was recently sold and fully renovated, prices are awesome and offers some amazing restaurant(s)/entertainment options.
Most importantly the spaces for networking will be much more gathered and accessible to all, with a great lounge next to conference area, private entrance/valet etc, with rooms at $99 net was hard to resist.

The place looks great, I am reading that there are designated smoking areas. Which is fucking amazing.
I didn't dislike the Hard Rock (also a music lover here) but damn, the place could get so nasty with the smoking going on.
I am loving the Sahara room prices and location, I see there is a mono rail near by, that's awesome.
