This won't save the Earth of course. But... the first nuclear bomb was made in the USA and it was used twice against
civilian people. The first civilian nuclear reactor was made in Russia. Yes, we know about Chernobyl, Fukushima, Feedwater line-burst at Surry Nuclear power plant etc, but everything may happen when you do it first.
