The overwhelming majority of a paysite's users will be legit people just accessing for their own needs. It's quite easy to identify the bad players if you collect lots of data on what average (read: nearly all) subscribers access in a given month and how (avg amount download, avg amount streamed, etc.).
3D engine worlds, advanced fingerprinting, etc may be overkill for simple data monitoring and email notifications sent to you if a subscriber does something suspicious.
