They lost their Google traffic. Likely wasn't their fault entirely, pretty much every tube besides the top few gets penalized eventually.
With a domain like porn.com the best move if you can't get SE traffic anymore is to sell the type in traffic for maximum revenue and minimal expenses.
The only reason to upload/host videos (a low profit margin business) is if its gonna get you Google traffic or if you're gonna buy traffic...porn.com lost their Google traffic and has no need to buy traffic.
It was the right move.
