Just train your dog.
I just got ourselves a very young German Shepard puppy. It's too young to bring outside for walks, but I am already training him. So far he plays fetch and sits. We also have him working on peeing on the puppy pads, and I am trying to get him to pee outside more. It's a process and you have to put time and effort into it - and do it when they are young.
