If he needs a really simple and cheap demonstration he can show how using 2 pairs of 3D movie glasses turned at 90 degrees from each other cancel light, and how. 3rd pair added to this and turned 45 degrees let’s light pass through again.

Both demonstrations produce mind bending results and show the amazing world of quantum mechanics, waves v particles, and probability waves. It doesn’t demonstrate quantum entanglement sorry but this is all I know . For now. ;)

the double slit is probability, not entanglement. the photo travels through both slits because the photon could have gone either way, not because they are entangled. democratic science isn't working out very well for you Mark
