Do you know what these clubs are intended for? To find a sex partner for the night. In her or in your apartments. That's the only reason why people come here. If someone likes music, he will go to a music show or will listen it on player. If someone wants to drink, he goes to a restaurant. The night clubs are made for sex.

That's because you are not a Russian. Our women are a bit... I don't know a correct word for that. They hate gays more than men hate 'em. And even prostitutes here write in their ads that they will do sex with Slavic men only. A foreign guy here is usually just a purse but not a lover for most of them. I don't know why. So my advice is just be careful or find Russian buddy who will be near you when you go to date a girl. Don't be afraid of Russian men - we are open. When they like you as a person, you'll see it. When they hate you, you will feel it physically ;) But if you are a foreigner, Russian women could be a serious problem. Just remember my words.

The last time I've been there in 90's and at the beginning of 2000s. If you are asking about girls, so course they are no different. Piter is a province in comparison to Moscow, but still must be good for parting. There is a song about it, which says that St. Pererburg is to drink and Moscow is to sniff (you know which exactly white powder I'm talking about)... Watch this music clip. It shows the reality of St. Pererburg. I'm not kidding. My closest friends now live there. They say that people there drink 24/7 anywhere. Even Sweden and Finish people come there specially to drink.
St. Pererburg is not Moscow, even if it's called a second (Northern) capital of Russia.
