I actually do not enjoy shooting however these days... you going to get one? make sure and take training so you won't be afraid to use the the darn thing, and so you won't shot the wrong person. if you can find a dark room to bang off a few rounds so you are prepared for the bang, the flash and the blowback on your hands. it can be pretty frightening if you are not ready for it.
